注塑模具加热留意事项
Cautions for Heating Injection Mold
一、铸造工艺。这是注塑模具作业零件制造进程中的重要环节。关于高合金工具钢的注塑模具,普通对材料碳化物分布等金相布置提出技艺要求。此外,还应严厉控制铸造温度范围,制定正确的加热规范,选用正确的铸造力法,以及锻后缓冷或及时退火等。
1. Casting technology. This is an important link in the manufacturing process of injection mold parts. As for the injection moulds of high alloy tool steels, the metallographic arrangement such as carbide distribution of materials is generally required. In addition, the casting temperature range should be strictly controlled, the correct heating criteria should be formulated, the correct casting force method should be selected, and the slow cooling or timely annealing after forging should be adopted.
二、预备热处置。应视注塑模具作业零件的材料和要求的不同分别选用退火、正火或调质等预备热处置工艺,以改善布置,消弭铸造毛坯的布置缺陷,改善加工工艺性。高碳合金模具钢经过恰当的预备热处置可消弭网状二次渗碳体或链状碳化物,使碳化物球化、细化,促进碳化物分布平均性。这样有利于确保淬火、回火质量,提高模具寿数。
Preparatory heat treatment. Depending on the material and requirement of injection mould parts, annealing, normalizing or tempering should be selected to improve the layout, eliminate the layout defects of casting blanks and improve the processing technology. The high carbon alloy die steel can eliminate the secondary carbide or chain carbide after proper preparation heat treatment, make the carbide spheroidized and refined, and promote the average distribution of carbides. This is conducive to ensuring the quality of quenching and tempering and improving the life of the die.

三、淬火与回火。这是模具热处置中的关键环节。若淬火加热时发生过热,不只会使工件构成较大的脆性,而且在冷却时容易惹起变形和开裂,严重影响模具寿数。冲模淬火加热时特别应留意防止氧化和脱碳,应严厉控制热处置工艺规范,在条件容许的状况下,可选用真空热处置。淬火后应及时回火,并依据技艺要求选用不同的回火工艺。
Quenching and tempering. This is the key link in the heat treatment of die. If overheating occurs during quenching and heating, it will not only make the workpiece brittle, but also cause deformation and cracking when cooling, which seriously affects the life of the die. When the die is quenched and heated, special attention should be paid to preventing oxidation and decarbonization, and strict control should be given to the technical specifications of heat treatment. Vacuum heat treatment can be used when conditions permit. After quenching, tempering should be done in time, and different tempering processes should be selected according to the technical requirements.
四、消应力退火。注塑模具加工零件后应停止消应力退火处置,具目的是消弭粗加工所构成的内应力,以免淬火叫发生过大的变形和裂纹。关于精度要求高的模具,在磨削或电加工后还需经过消应力回火处置,有利于波动模具精度,提高运用寿数。
4. Stress relief annealing. The stress relief annealing treatment should be stopped after the parts are processed by injection moulds. The purpose is to eliminate the internal stress caused by rough processing, so as to avoid excessive deformation and cracks caused by quenching. As for the die with high precision, it needs stress relief and tempering after grinding or electro-processing, which is beneficial to fluctuating the precision of the die and improving the service life of the die.
